Counseling vs. Coaching Disclaimer

The Existence Collective, LLC, offers both licensed counseling and non-clinical coaching services. These services are distinct in scope and regulation:

  • Counseling is a clinical service provided only to residents of New Hampshire by Aoife Kennedy, LCMHC, a licensed mental health counselor regulated by the New Hampshire Board of Mental Health Practice. Counseling may involve diagnosis, treatment planning, and is eligible for insurance billing when applicable.

  • Coaching is a non-clinical, nationwide service that focuses on personal growth, values exploration, accountability, and goal-setting. Coaching is not therapy, does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions, and is not covered by insurance.

Participation in coaching services does not create a therapist–client relationship. Clients who require therapy, medical care, or crisis intervention will be referred to appropriate providers.
